I like playing bad guys.

But I just can't seem to get into the mindset of Evil Because Evil *switches Voltaire on*. Even for Omega, who - well, we know what O'Malley's like. I like having a motive, even if it's only their own personal explanation for their actions.
For Omega, it's a case of "The UNSC created us and just killed us off again (la la la wasn't me who started it). They deserve everything they get. Plus I could run the show better than them. Plus evolution, next stage in mental development, shut up lookalike. ...Plus, okay, it's fun messing with peoples' heads."
For Kay, it's "Damn stuck-up split-chin better-than-you types, I'll show them... plus I'm already damned, what does it hurt if I have a bit of extremely violent fun while I'm on the job?"
They've both come from the land of Evil Because Evil but it just doesn't work for me.

...I'm probably going to try and keep Kay around in a position where I can retrieve him at some point when the plot ends. Even if it does involve 'dive through random portal or hit random PINpoint coordinates when seriously injured' or something. I feel like I'm not being fair, but damn, I like him. K's always had a slightly 'Mr. Bennet' morality, but he doesn't enjoy the dirty work so much as knows he's got to do it - for Kay, it counts as the highlight of it all.
See how it goes.

On a similar note, weird how I can't seem to use Nexus LOL stuff just for... well, LOL. Past few I've had seem to have had big effects...
