And don't want to see another train again. Seriously, I have just been eaten by trains this weekend. Breakdown Friday, cancelled today... aaaaaagh. Hate.
But anyway.
Convention.
Good times.
Arrived late-ish Friday; broke out Rose, and got a few positive comments and people to hang around with. Yay, success! There was a bit of a party going on, and karaoke, but it was anime song karaoke and I don't know the words.
Saturday, kicked off doing the Shadow thing. Made the most of it by messing with and eventually chatting to the con's Riku. Did the dealer's room thing, watched a panel on Japanese culture. Afternoon was a meetup with Homestucky people, so miss Lalonde got pulled back out: that was fun. Masquerade cool as always: was a long show. Got broken up midway by one of the hosts getting dared into a dress.
Aerith got pulled out for the first time in the evening, though didn't really get up to much: went to see more party times, but I was just so tired I didn't feel it. :(
Sunday was panels and photos: Aerith again, surprised people actually wanted my pic, I'd have thought that she was so done that my attempt (with fail last minute wig) wouldn't be worth the photo. XD Armour panel, nothing I didn't already know but interesting; wigs, crossplay, picked up a few tips.
Headed home (via train hell) at about four; would've loved to stay later, but there was nothing I particularly wanted to see until too late for it to be any good. And given the trainwreck (haha) that was to occur I think it was a good thing I got away when I did.
Roll on the next one. And *ponders next cosproject...*
