Operation cosplay newb continues...

Looks like I'm making progress! :) The antennae for my Shadow gijinka only need a good going over with some primer, painting, and fixing on a headband. They were purely newspaper/papier maché, so they're really light, too. I'm taking in-progress shots (if cruddy webcam ones), so when they're done, I'll put a how I did it post up.

Taking a second look at alternatives and other projects, and keeping that for backup, as it went so well and so quickly, and seriously Rose or Jade will be a ten minute job with some paint. I'm now considering a few of the Final Fantasy girls - Terra, Aerith (classic FF7) or Refia, probably. Which one, though, I'll have to see what's workable. I'll leave the really, really crazy outfits until next time...
