College rantery.
Apr. 2nd, 2009 08:50 pmThis is pretty much me as a lolcat.
Yeeeah. Pushing on with the Big Project - actually started the writeup at last. There is still a lot of time currently being spent sitting around and waiting for the computer to do things that netbooks were never designed to do re: complex aerofoil analyses. This comp's a trooper, though; it takes twice as long as the uni computers, but damn it, it does it. And I'd rather spend twice the time sitting at home comfortably waiting for the computer to chug out the results, than sitting in a university computer lab.
I still feel like I Need More Juicy Bits in my project, but the supervisor's very happy with the way things are going, so maybe I should be too.
One rather cool/fun/ish thing that we have to do for the projects, though, as part of the final presentation (*gibber*) is produce a poster for it, giving an overview of what we've been doing. I'm wondering just how artsy I can get away with seeing as this is an engineering thing. XD

The boss's moving on in work. Promotion, off to another store; word is the new guy's pretty nice, so fingers crossed.
Okay, she could be a bit in-your-face - but she was my first actual Boss, and she could've been a whole lot worse to say the least. Store's going to be a whole lot different...
