Mar. 22nd, 2006 04:36 pmSo I just saw Tucker at the bus stop.
Yeah.
Wasn't like the Flowers I spotted, where it was sort of a 'huh, that guy looks like...' - it was a 'oh my god it's him'. XD Tried not to stare.
Silly computer gave me a hell of a scare earlier. It was behaving a little funny, so I figured I'd restart (note, I typically just put it onto sleep mode, I only reboot when the system starts slowing down or I've installed something). And it sat there on the start up screen. And sat there.
And sat there. For about five minutes, until I switched off and restarted again.
Normally Durandal's pretty well behaved. But this had me freaking out. Had me whispering and hugging the screen, 'Durandal, baby, don't give up on me now...' - yes, I talk to my computer, this is possibly freaky, I know. But I guess, overall, it's just one of Those Things That Happen With Computers... if it was the family PC I wouldn't even have sweated it. Weird how things change.
I guess this is what you get for naming the thing after a full on psycho rampant AI.
Have also found out at damn short notice that I'm going into hospital on Friday. Really nothing much, getting a chronically manky wisdom tooth pulled, and I decided it would be best to get knocked out for it... but I'm still worried as anything. Eh, yeah, I know it's not like they're not dragging me off to be a Spartan and crap. XD And I've been there before. But... yeah, still nervous.
Yeah.
