Mar. 20th, 2006 09:43 amHave just spent the last hour doing a mad search for my phone. And the damn thing was under a piece of paper on my desk the whole time. Only problem with nice small phones. They get lost.
Spartan rank thing is bugging me again. (*looks at a certain maroon new arrival*) Damn you RT for making things confusing. If the 2s are under direct ONI (Office of NAVAL intelligence) control and the 3s aren't, or something? How does it woooooooork? Why did they change?
Is there even an ONI and a UNSCDF left during the whole civil war thing?
And how the hell does Vic work?
'Seaman' sounds weird when you're not talking about someone who's ever been at sea. But the alternatives sound equally dorky. Crewman, maybe? How did they do it on Star Trek? XD Might trawl through the Halo books later. Looks like the Spartan-2s themselves got chucked straight to Petty Officer, well, MC did anyway and I forget the rest. ;)
...I put far too much thought into this whole deal, don't I?
Also finding the sudden re-uprising of RvBers on Sages kind of amusing. Though this new Tex doesn't sound anywhere near as good as the one(s) I know. What no icon? C'mon...
