Mar. 17th, 2005 09:38 pmSo, not sick any more. In fact, made it to a class co-birthday party yesterday - three different people had theirs at the same time, so we took over the top floor of a bar in town. Didn't drink myself, but it was still a damn good time. And there was free food. This is always a good thing. Although what's the point in having cocktail sausages if you don't have the little sticks to go with them? Sausages in sticks are part of the whole party atmosphere!
My router decided to be a crazy so'n'so last night, though. I'm worried that my poking the firewall to stop Bittorrent moaning was the problem, but I've left the software firewall running on the other computer to stop anything getting down the line through the BT hole (though there seems to be a new network setting there now that wasn't before... this worries me a little). In the end, all we had to do was pull the plug and it worked again. Always have to do the same thing to our Sky box when the weather gets bad, don't have a clue why.
I'm sure we have the only television with Seasonal Affective Disorder.
