Well, finally did it.

Paid account. Two months.

I'd spend that much on buying a CD single any day of the week (typical UK prices...). I figured it was worth giving a little back to the people at LJ now I've been here so long. (Well, that and both my journals are on Filetmignon, the cursed server.)

...Whoa. I can't actually believe it.

Time to go crazy with the icons!

Getting seriously worried that we've done something wrong to the Old Computer. Tried the clean-format-install disc that the computer came with, but I can't tell if it's doing anything...

Really starting to panic. Hope that it all comes through OK...

Old Comp's back up, and frisky as an iPod. Two gigabytes total of programs on it... that's less than my graphics take up on the Shiny Thing.
Still being weird on some sites, coughebaycough, but apparently that's not uncommon...

So relieved. Was really panicking at one point.
