Aug. 20th, 2004 08:36 pmI really, really need driving lessons. Sick of the whole stuck at home thing. Must get that sorted.
On the other hand - aaargh, writer's block is back. I end up playing with characters for personal projects and for college rather than getting down and finishing my stories! I seem to keep putting teeny snippets into different chapters of Generations, but not actually progressing it any further. I know exactly (or almost) how it ends - I can see it in my head. But it's just getting there. The same applies to my Metroid fic in progress. It's only a shortie, but it's still proving awkward. Nnngh!
Left one of my drafts/character sheets for my original story/manga lying around the house the other day, though. Mum was tidying up. She picked it up. She read it.
And she got on me about how I could actually make it into something really good, manga or no... wasn't expecting that one bit. ^^
