Don't look down...
Apr. 25th, 2004 09:42 pmLast day of freedom before college. Spent it looking at museums. Yay. Actually, pretty interesting. The War Museum we visited was a really well put together exhibition.
Had a major panic attack while I was there, though. There's a viewing platform at the top of a tower there. Go up in a lift.
I do not do lifts. I do not do heights. I can stand planes, love them in fact, but tall structures freak me out. Mad vertigo time.
I freaked out. The floor in the gallery was wire mesh. You could see all the way down through it. Gods, it was awful. Plus the guys in the lift on the way down insisted on talking about their scariest ever lift experiences. Thanks for reducing me to a gibbering wreck.
( But on a lighter note. Cut only interesting to anyone who knows f_w. Or is interested in very surreal things. )
