Hoo boy. Have just spent the past two hours fixing my aunt's computer. She told me the colours had gotten screwed up, which they had, and would have been an easy problem to fix if the thing wasn't missing a mouse pointer... argh. I am not technical support, okay? I can make the college computers salute and go 'Yes, Lady!' and let me into all the admin stuff - but that only applies to Macs. Not to psycho PCs. Had to reinstall the whole thing. A process that got longer and longer and longer... kept saying 'This will take a few minutes' to me - oh, yeah?
Oh, yeah, and karate class last night? Actually got to teach the newbies. Which was a damn scary experience. I am not cut out to be a teacher. The kids I was taking through katas just wouldn't listen. Okay, I know I'm still two weeks off my brown belt, but still. Think I made a bit of an idiot of myself... then again, guess I should be pleased with myself that Roger-sensei actually trusted me.
And I cannot believe what I am listening to. Better than I thought it would be. But that's not hard.
