Yeah, I've been quiet on here lately... been freaking tired and crud. Some of it's because I've finally got around to doing something I should've done a while ago, and actually joined a gym. Wii's good, but sometimes these things need company that isn't/aren't Miis or freaky cybertrainers, and dad's doing this whole gym thing with me. Plus the local one has an awesome pool with a jacuzzi. This is a bonus.
Though - jegus, OWCH.
Got about two months left on the current contract at work. While I know they're happy with what I'm doing, we're now entering the 'is them being happy going to be enough to keep me on longer?' stage of things.
What are the options afterwards, if they don't...? I can't face going back to retail - it's amazing how much calmer I've been in this job. Just being able to work at my own pace means so much to me. Computer-centric stuff, though, might not be the best idea for me in the long haul... stupid eye condition (still gotta see doc about it, waiting on appointment) and headaches and bluh.
Suppose there's a certain amount of Whatever's Out There involved still, mind. I just don't know where and what I can really do...
Welp. Guess I'll see by Christmas.
Speaking of computer centric. Weirdly, I've been Burned Out On Photoshop lately. Just haven't wanted to pixel push. (Doesn't help that mum keeps asking me to scan stuff for her.) Draw, yeah, I'm getting the pencils out... but no 'shopping.
Unfortunately, conventional drawing is slower for me. And the light in my room makes colouring in pretty dodgy at times. So I'm kind of having to colour when there's still natural light ... which, at this time of the year, is obviously a tricky task.
And this also means no keys, as I don't tend to do them non-digitally. Even when I've got something like four I want to work on.
Also, gratuitous pokeymans.
