New job is going okay - bit monotonous, but the computers come with Spotify built in so yay music, and at least it's doing the same thing at my own pace not customers' pace. Also, there are free ice creams in the freezers. And a cake sale tomorrow. One thing I am noticing though is that the swapping from PC keyboards there to Mac keyboard at home is giving me a bad case of damn-you-muscle-memory. Control-C/V to Command-C/V? Yarg.
I appear to have been dragged into yet another virtual-browser-game thing. Pokeymans this time. Like these guys.
...This is also leading to me spriting stuff. *eyes Kurt and Layla pokémon style sprites* I keep forgetting how much I like pixel arting. (Just like I keep forgetting how much I like real-media art, too.)
Speaking of things KH/RP, though. I've gone back to having one certain issue bug me ... it's a side effect of canon, I know. But the mirrorverse is still my creation, and I should be able to *fix it...*
I'm talking about the lack of female good guys it's got going on. Basically, it comes down to Larxene-Other and, at least part of the time, Xion. Out of the whole cast. This is NOT GOOD.
How do I do this? I've considered/had suggested that a few of the guys get gender swapped - Lea and/or Isa, Marluxia-Other (who was originally designed as a girl, after all)? It appeals. But I don't know if it's kind of breaking the rules of 'minimizing A Wizard Did It factor' that I've tried to stick to.
There's intro-ing OCs, but that honestly wouldn't work with the concept as it is. (Although I may add a cameo or two.)
Or there's always the Princesses - but how'm I going to get them to work in this context? The 'KH1' plot's about saving people with hearts that could've made big-boss-Heartless, and Kairi's in the bad guy role... so how would they fit in?
