Robot unicorns and nostalgia.
Apr. 22nd, 2010 10:13 pmI grew up on late-80s/early-90s pop. I guess it's influenced my taste in music even now, what with my tendency to go for electronic and dance whatever.
There was one group I liked among the rest. I danced crazily to the music. I giggled somewhat at their ridiculous outfits. I possibly didn't do my ears any favours with the headphones.
And in time, I grew away from them towards the typical fare: the boy bands, Spice Girls ... all the rest expected from a nineties kid. (Not that one.)
Funny how things turn up, really, and an old favourite of mine suddenly becomes the next big meme.
Altogether now: [sparkle] "Always, I wanna be with you..." [/sparkle]
When I say that game makes me feel ten years old? I have a reason.
(Wish my tapes hadn't been eaten by the machine. ... Heck, wish we still had a tape player.)
