The biggest flock of birds I have ever seen is currently flying around my house. Well, near it. Half the sky was just filled with them - there's got to be hundreds, if not thousands! They flew overhead at one point - I was sure I could hear their wings. Just this soft rustle...

It's amazing. I'm posting this watching... the way they're moving, swirling... wow. I've never seen anything like it. It's more like watching a shoal of fish. Or some strange wave. Hypnotic.

They're starting to move away slightly, but I'm still getting a hell of a view from my window. Whee. Birds. Tried to take a picture but the light's too bad to get a good shot.
