Aug. 25th, 2008 06:40 pmBank holiday work. Thought we were going to be snowed under - but kind of not so much. Thank god, seeing as there were only two of us on when there were scheduled to be three. (Mixup with the last guy's holidays.)
Was checking the terminals around the shop later in the afternoon; they're all left on a login screen. Some resourceful type had typed 'roflcopter' into one of the username boxes. I can't help but wonder - customer or one of us? Never seen something like that before, so I'm guessing customer. Hee. Normally I'd be annoyed at someone messing with the system, but that? Points for resourcefulness, internet-savvy visitor. *is easily amused, yeah...*

Also, my internet connection is disintegrating further and faster than it ever has in the past. Yesterday I couldn't get on at all until something close to midnight. Surprised it's working as well as it is today. We're attempting to wrangle tech support, but we're not sure if the problem lies with the ISP or with BT. Thinking the latter as my aunt's is playing hell too, and she's on AOL. (Well, playing more hell than it usually does given that fact.) But we've got to prove just where the problem is... this isn't fun.
