(no subject)

So I haven't posted in nearly forever. Whee. Sooo... catchup time! I've just kind of ... run out of steam as far as writing anything goes. So I'll try and cover a few highlights and whatever over oh god how long has it been since I've updated?

Went paintballing Sunday before last. Fun as hell except for a) my gun kept jamming b) I couldn't see crap through the goggles. Think my glasses got in the way. Still got the bruises, actually, but don't tend to notice the hits when they happen as badly as you'd think. (Except for the dirtbag who got me on the back of the frickin' neck - that was bad.) Managed to catch the eye of one of the marshals during a capture the flag game - gun'd gone again, I just thought 'what the hell' and ran (well, quick walk, I was too tired) for the flag no matter what. Then got shot to hell. Ah, well. At least I got my hands on it?

Driving test number three went down the pan last week. Silly little mistake that happened to count as a silly big mistake. It gets annoying when the instructor goes out saying 'right, that was a lovely drive, BUT!'... argh. Never mind - I think I've worked out a winning technique for #4, now just to book it...

Parents are currently looking for another holiday. September, this one'll be. Spain seems to be the current top runner, or somewhere in Europe anyway. Think we might just be going for a week. I don't mind, it's a break. :)

Online? Managed to get myself into my first 'formal' RP for a long time, which is going well. :) Want to play more Nexus-side, got so much I want to do with my guys but I just haven't had any decent question business to do with them... maybe it's not 'wanting to play Nexus' as 'wanting to play my characters off enough people'. Agh, RPer's block.

And last. I really, really want to change this journal's username. Wanted to in the past but never had the spare cash. I've had this for years, now, but... I've just grown really tired of the title. I know what I don't want - anything fandom, anything like my other online aliases with the military theme (as much as I like them, I don't want them on this one). I just don't know what I do...

Yeeeah, two posts in a day. I'm catching up for lost time!

But latest RvB inspired an icon out of me, after I'd finished squealing. I decided to do a couple more while I was at it and my brain was in the right (or wrong) place - one's a remake of one of my old ones.
