Jan. 14th, 2008 08:14 pmSo it's post-semester exam hell this week. We start new classes next week. Know I've at the very least passed *one* of them on the reports that've been marked so far - two classes just took coursework to pass, the other four are all exam. The second of the coursework-only ones I don't know about yet; the teacher is a hard-ass marker among hard-ass markers. I think I covered all the stuff we had to, but this was the 1000 word report, so... yeah.
Anyway.
First exam today, avionics - was really worried about it, but think it went pretty well in the end, if only because it was a 'pick three of five questions' job. Except for the one question that, as soon as I got on the bus home, I realised - aw crud, that was a minus not a plus, wasn't it? Eh, there's always one.
Maths is tomorrow. I can do this stuff, it's just getting it fresh in my mind as to the techniques again. And the problem with maths is that the notes make ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE once they're over and finished with, no matter how it was when I was actually doing it... F[s]=squiggle f(t)e^st dt what the hell? I wrote that?
Aerodynamics, number three. Wednesday. That's the one I'm not looking forward to, insofar as it's possible to look forward to exams. Equations everywhere and I can't get them straight in my head, which is actually pretty unusual for me. At least it's in the afternoon, so I'll end up spending the morning in the library with a Red Bull and my notes. (Worked today.)
Thermodynamics Friday, so get a bit of a break. Not as much of a nightmare as Aero, we covered a lot of this stuff last year, but not too positive about that either. At least I've got longer to revise it.
