Dec. 15th, 2007 09:56 pmSo just watched 'Spirits Within' for the first time in forever. First time since I've played any actual Final Fantasy games, actually. XD I'm one of those weird people that Still Likes It (I know I'm not supposed to admit to that, it's like liking the Mario movie (which I did, cheesefest as it was, so tough)) even if I was dipping in and out of the Uncanny Valley while I did...
...but damn it if I couldn't stop calling the Phantoms Flood. And the sergeant Johnson. Says where my brain hangs out, doesn't it?
On the latter subject, took the 360 round to some friends' place last night. The guy of the two basically went "...hi dc HI CHIEF *drool*." And nearly held the thing to ransom. And kicked my ass all over High Ground by the time he'd run around it a few times and worked out the equipment thing, but eh. It's all part of the game.
On an unrelated subject, work is really starting to get busy. I'm dreading next week. Although it's kind of cool to have my weekends back again for now.
