(no subject)

Headphones died today. This has to be some kind of a record for the amount of time a pair's hung on around me, eight months, but by the end they were more sellotape than plastic anyway - this is barely an exaggeration. One side just stopped working out of the blue, and the treble on the other was starting to fade. Picked up a cheaper pair for now, they're alright but the ear-hook bits are kind of wobbly and harder to settle - says a lot, I hung back for a later bus rather than go home from college straight away just so I could stop by HMV. No music and no iPod makes DC something something.

For once, I've beaten the minimum word count on a report and I've still got points to cover. Now to find things to say in those points, because one of them is currently only a couple of sentences and the tutor'll skin me if I try and get away with that. I tell myself every time, 'right, I'll get this thing done early', and yet it's STILL coming down to the wire... eh, at least I can't see myself doing it in the morning. (I'm saying.) Printing it, maybe, but as my printer no longer sucks that'll work out.
Now for the other three that're due over the next couple of weeks. One day, I will get the hang of this 'early' thing. One day.
