And packing has started. Well, getting crap together for carry-on and charging stuff's batteries, anyway. I'm still all 'woo first class'.

Finally getting those party invites for my aunt printed at the same time. Note to self, don't ever design something that's 90% cyan ink again. Whole reason I had to try and print on her computer o' doom was that it ate most of ours' ink, and *then* they changed the text on the invitation. D'oh.

Went shopping for a few T-shirts and stuff this afternoon. Mum seems to not be getting the memo of 'look, I don't like excessive pink, and I'm trying to keep black out of my wardrobe.' Sigh.

Mng. Weather forecast for next week looks ominous. There are a lot of mentions of thunderstorms. Eh, at least if it's going to rain there it's going to *rain*, not Brit drizzle (although I'll probably end up longing for Brit drizzle at some point). Prepared for it this time, packed waterproofs and my actual decently not-soaking-in-five-seconds boots. We're not going to get caught out again.
(Rat rain, we call it in my house. As in 'drowned rat', and as in a particularly bad rainstorm we got caught in in Singapore where a rat ran across the road to get out of it. ...Although given where we got soaked worst last time, mouse rain is probably more like it. XD)
