(no subject)

Been getting used to the new car. So far, the steering feels better than the driving instructor's, but the pedals feel a bit different - not quite as smooth. It seems a bit happier to go faster, too; I was hanging around at 50mph on roads I hadn't previously dared touch 50mph on. Although I suspect a bit of that was the fact that I've got Dad there in the car, and I felt a bit like I should be speeding it up. He says I was doing pretty well, except for the pulling out of junctions bit. Last night, I was stalling like a crazy thing. Not so bad today. Of course, there's the issue that the way Dad drives and the way my instructor tells me to drive clash sometimes (mostly on issues of what gear when) so that gets confusing...

I'm stuck on names, though. Defaulting to 'Bumblebee' because it's small, cute and yellow (and I will get pictures when I've given it a good clean and polish), but it's neither a Beetle not a Camaro so it feels weird. Other option's Squall, as Dad's considering getting a Laguna from the same guy who sold it us... XD
Or something else might turn up.
