Jul. 26th, 2007 08:44 pmDear those two girls:
Yes, it's a shame that there's no such thing as cheerleading here, but it doesn't mean you have to act like karate class is it instead. (And you can't both be Jackie, but you're trying.)
Okay, I'll happily admit - yeah, I'm jealous of what you guys can do. You got all the breaks physically, whereas here I am with lousy stamina and flexibility which'll probably never be brilliant even if I went to the gym as often as I did. But being better there doesn't mean you're Better Than Us like you seem to act. I've never seen either of you come in in kit except grading night (and why the hell sensei lets you two train in civvies when he chews the rest of us higher graders out... geez). You giggle and chatter like parrots during all warmups and any kind of sparring session; where you also just go ooh and aah and I don't want to hurt her - karate freaking class. Punches happen. With you two, kicks should be happening like whoa.
If you want to be party people, go party.
Also bratty newbie I was trying to teach:
The other two kids were trying their best. What is so amusing about pratting about? ...Eh, usual question. Attention-seeking, I guess; you did calm down when I went and focused on the pair who were giving it all they could. At one point, I think I kind of turned into my old teacher and that is a scary scary thought.
I guess I've just been in one of those moods myself all night.
