Just tried to put my gang into order of Good Guy to Bad Guy. Weird how far down the line some of the Spartans end up, just on the 'will do whatever's needed for the cause' thing. K's bumping up against Bennet in morally grey land (and surprisingly? Harvey is too). Makes me think I should really push Kane further into badguyism.
Also once again thinking 'need to increase where the cast come from', although I seem to have zero success keeping anyone going from outside Spartanverses except for Bennet. (Reminds me, need to get him a post maybe tomorrow because of plot.) Okay, I know that KH!John and Kane both only come in there on a technicality, but they're close enough. One of the main things I worry like hell about is that people think 'oh great, another DC Spartan. Don't care. Get a new act.' Or that my guys are too close in voices; I can see definite similarities between, say, Harvey and Bennet (Serious Business Guys), and KH!John, Jersey, and Aleph (Young And Wild). At least Omega and the Ks keep away from the rest.
Eh - I think my big problem is getting my butt active and into threads. I just never think of a good answer to a question in time. Need to get moving.
Once Aleph's settled, I'll give the pseudo-FF-RPG-verse gang a go if it doesn't disrupt any plotwhatsis I'm doing - I like the cynical ranger (maybe she'll be a female character I can *stick with* better than my usual, although I worry she'll be another Durga) and the touchy mage, but the other two I'm not sure on - can tweak them. Just need names. And another run at the PB hunt.

Real life: I need to learn that yes, that pair of trainers soak through whenever I wear them in even the slightest rain, and therefore taking them out into an BLEEPDAMNED DOWNPOUR is not a good idea. I need to dig my boots out.
This? Is not summer. Okay, the rain was worse in Florida - but that was *warm*. Yeah, I know I'm a Brit and therefore have no right to complain about rain. I'm doing it ANYWAY.
Storm last night at least had one hell of a lightning show.
And just to get it out the way: yes, tomorrow will probably be spent in hiding, trying not to read that Rosebud is made of people. ...Dammit.
