Jul. 2nd, 2007 04:30 pmThink I'm finally starting to wake up again. My alarm clock was still set for 'getting to plane' time, so it went off at 6am this morning... here we have the explanation for me being around at that time. :)

Thinking about an incident that happened on Thursday, I think.
Up driving in the mountains, it looked like there'd been a fire there or something - the landscape was all charred and blackened. Very dramatic. There was a lot of junk lying around there, glass bottles and the like, and you could just go around picking up bits of charcoal type twigs.
Pulled over at the side of the road at one point, looking in some caves. Well, a small cave. Mum goes in first, comes out, calm. I follow her in with Dad.
Next thing I know, Dad's yelling "BEES!" and running out. I chase him out as I'm hearing an ominous buzz. Also yelling.
Mum wanders out calm as anything in a couple of moments. "What's the problem?"
"Bees."
"But I didn't see..."
"Bees."
"I'd already been in there, there wasn't anything to be worried about..."
"BEES, DAMMIT."
"...oh."
For the rest of the trip, all anyone had to do was mention bees and I fell about giggling. And I never got any chances to quote ILB.
