I just found xleague.tv today. Pro gaming channel. I think I'd read about it somewhere else but never sat down and watched it.
Watched a bit of the Quake championship, and geez - my head is spinning like, I don't know, it's spinning too hard to get a decent metaphor out of it. Brings it all home, really; as much as I might love games and everything (and geez how long did I spend on the Sims today?), I'll never be an outright ace. I can hold my own against friends and casual players when I'm running around Battle Creek (I won't say Blood Gulch because tank); but it's just crazy to see.
Wondering if they're going to be showing any Halo competitions on there. That'll be interesting.
