I've just started going back and private locking out all the old posts over on hypersoldier. Well, most of. Leaving a couple of the bigger scenes that happened over there out. I'm considering moving all my RP ranting and planning over there, depending on what the general opinion on leaving it here is.

Geez, memory lane - even the stuff that I've ranted about. And I'm wondering why I can't seem to play Ryan right any more. Maybe it's the fact he's been retconned all to hell in his time, but he was unplayable before it all. I just want to get him back in action, but hell if I know how... he just doesn't seem to click the same way. I still like him and all, technophobic cyborg of fun that he is, but I don't know how to make him work any more... I hear too much of his voice in Jersey's and K's and it's wonky. And then I worry he never had a voice of his own, just mine, if you get what I mean.

I want to get away from just the Haloverse characters, but I just can't get inspired anywhere past KH!John and all the AUness. I'd grab someone from Heroes if I thought I could do them justice, but I don't know if I could...

KHalo quickie question and/or 'plz help' moment: Keyblades. I'm trying to work out a few more for the list than the Index, although given this is John we're talking about and the Halo two weapons at a time structure have to work out something with the carrying a lot deal...! Might have two at a time and leave the rest in the ship. Dual wield, yo. I'm thinking he actually does tend to carry packs and whatnot rather than relying on RPG hammerspace. ...Or something, am I making sense? Hmm, anything that'd work for grenades?
But the deal is, yeah, I've got a big long list of actual KH ones (or KH2 anyway) so I'm trying to work out a few KHalo specific possibilities... thinking about Covenant ones, an Arby one (speaking of, wondering what he'd do here... though I suspect, yeah, wait until KH2 heh), Monitoresque one, UNSC style (possibly Sgt Johnson?), some kind of AI thing (photon debugger ha ha)... maybe keypistols or something... hm. Have I missed anything that could work? Anyone? :)?
...though I guess a lot of them go by world, so need to work out what the worlds are to get things to fit; I don't want to just copy Sora's run even if I do use Disney.
