Feb. 3rd, 2007 07:54 pmYays for meeting up with the gang.
Finally found somewhere semi-local that sells Pocky, too. And have the finale of Torchwood on tape. I know what I'm doing...

Ohmigod nostalgia.
Back in the day, when I was little, I had a little cute platformer by the name of Rainbow Bell Adventures. Part of the Twinbee series, all pastel-coloured mecha shooting each other. Even in those days, you can tell what I was into - holy crap, I loved those bees. Go here for pictures. Until I checked that site, I never realised the game didn't come out in the US.
Anyway. One of the playable characters was a little green robot, Gwinbee, piloted by a little baby. It made sense.
But something has just hit me over the head; it's a bit of deja vu that has plagued me for ages. But Gwinbee robot = SPI helmet. Except with a blue visor and a couple of additional bits. I swear to god...
