Sep. 20th, 2006 02:48 pmBack at the same cybercafe again. Mmm, this place smells of coffee but the music's annoying.
Spent the weekend swanning around Kennedy Space Centre. Am sitting here in an Apollo 13 t-shirt and an Atlantis STS-115 (why couldn't it be 117?!?!) baseball cap. :) Freaking awesome. Got up close with one of the Saturn rockets and those things are frickin' huge. Went in a G-force simulator thing, that felt weird as hell but not that bad.
Disney Magic Kingdom yesterday; that was cool, except for one detail. Well, two. Space Mountain was closed...
and it rained. I mean, rained. Whoever named Florida the Sunshine State needs to be hit with a mallet with the words CHECK THE WEATHER FORECAST written on it.
I also have a spherical plush Mickey now. The world's biggest mouse ball.
And had my photo taken with Captain Hook and Buzz Lightyear. ...Not at the same time.
Not a whole lot left to do now. So I'm coastin'. Might go to Epcot or Disney-MGM tomorrow, see how it goes.
