So the RvB site has had a makeover. Is very pretty.
The RT tab's had a new look too.
And there's McKay drawings on the header bar, and he's doing comics of the RT cast. Okay, I'm cool with that and the comics are kinda funny.
Good for him but I worry.
The thing is, I guess I still don't want to see his images of the actual Spartans accepted as fully official canon or anything like that. He gets hero worshipped like his name was already in the little staff member box - yes, he's good, I'll give him that, but there are so many good artists out there! And I'm not counting myself, there are so many people out there turning out the RvB pix that I don't need to. Some of his stuff I kinda agree with, some, no way... there's no way I'll ever accept his Grif, for example.
Let us all imagine our own cast members, make our own decisions, create our own faces under the helmets... all of us. I've seen so many renditions out there and so many beautiful versions of the characters - everyone sees them differently... just let us see what we want, RT.
Yeah, this is sour grapes and illogical rants and me just being selfish but just let me be it for once?
