V for what?

We were told the damn thing started at 12.45 at the cinema we decided to see it at. Did it hell. The directory enquiries people said it did, the *sign posted on the kiosk at the cinema* said it did.
But the guys behind the desk refused to accept it, and just mumbled some excuse that none of us could make out.
Graaaargh. So went round the shops instead. We're gonna try and see it later.
