(no subject)

So is/are Blood Gulch etc on a Halo/ringworld or on a normal planet? I mean, we see the ring in the sky from BG, if not from anywhere else we see in RvB, and I've always on some level thought of it as a ringworld...
But why they'd drop the incompetents *on* a Halo in the first place, with what they actually do... unless BG isn't just an exile location...
