Nov. 8th, 2004 01:31 pmI just got this review on my songfic In The End, and it amused me greatly.
Okay, do you have any idea how impossible your fanfiction is? I'll tell you how much, 99.9% and if I'm not mistaken, anything over .5 goes up the the nearest hundred. Why would Link be mad at Zelda?
Well, as I recall, the whole point of the fic in question was that, basically, Link's not thinking straight. He's thinking Fierce Deity style. He's gotten twisted up so much that he's becoming irrational. Wouldn't you be if you'd spent seven years with hardly anyone acknowledging your existence?
There's logical reasons behind everything except its being a songfic.
Reviewers are entitled to say what they want, of course, barring OMG U SUXXORZ!!!!!1!!1!UN!!!ICHI!!!ETC!!!
But that just screamed Overprotective L/Z Shipper to me. (I'm more of the L/M type myself, actually. And I'll have to see if that changes with The Minish Cap. Geez, that game's snuck up quickly.)
