Scotland was beautiful. Although the weekend seemed to be spent battling Ivan, Jr. Yuck. Torrential rain. But when the clouds cleared, OMG, the stars... I've never seen them so bright. Absolutely beautiful. Reminds me why there's a telescope sitting in our 'study'.
Spent a lot of time in car, sightseeing. Mountains and more mountains. Gorgeous, but repetitive after a while...
My folks are making noises about moving up there and opening a backpacker hostel, although that could be pie in the sky wishful stuff. I can never tell, especially with Dad. XD
On a surreal note. Could someone explain how a bee managed to get into my top and sting me twice in the stomach? Hurt for half the day. You could have had a good life, bee. Hugging flowers, making honey... but no, you had to waste it on giving me a rash the size of Jupiter. Well done, bee. And I thought they could only sting you once...
