In a land down under...

Hoo boy. Been ages since I've updated! Just haven't had the internet time, had to write home rather than write in here... sigh.

Okay... my travels in five minutes.

Bangkok was noisy, dirty, but damn interesting all the same. Full of tourist tat... and people trying to scam us. Think we got ripped off once. But it wasn't too bad. Anyway - damn cool place. Not in the temperature sense, even though it *rained*.

Hong Kong - a little quieter and a lot cleaner, still a great experience. Half the restaurants didn't have English menus, which was a bit annoying, but we got by. Even the suburbs are serious city. Worst part was the weather. 35 degrees C. And sticky as hell. At least last stop there was rain...

Got to Perth/south west Australia - staying with mum's (distant) cousin and family. They're nice people, but I'm glad to have gotten away from them for a bit. Toured round the countryside. Very pretty round here. Nice to get out of the city. (And just as nice to get back into it to hit the comp...)
