Footy foot footy. Gah.
Jun. 12th, 2004 08:53 pmI am soo, soooo glad I'm going to be out of the country for the next few weeks.
At the very least, it'll get me away from all the loony soccerheads who are going to come out of the woodwork.
Was out for a drive today. Soooo many cars with English flags stuck to their windows like a pair of red and white Shrek ears. All proudly proclaiming - "My patriotism iz pastede on yay!"
And nearly as many with Welsh flags on just to say 'I'm supporting the other guy, regardless of who he is, as long as he isn't England. Oh, laaandd of my faaathers... cough cough hack splutter cough...'
Not a single Union Jack, though. Strange.
And ditto it'll get me away from Big Brother.
