The curse of Photoshop
When is being good at something not a good thing?...
When it means you can't do anything else.
I'm a bit of a Photoshop / Paintshop know-it-all, or at least I like to think of myself as one. Often, I get called on to do a little bit of photomanipulation for friends and family. Fine. I can stick a few pictures together no problem.
It's just...
Can get a bit too much sometimes, ne? I understand what I'm being asked for, okay. And I understand why. But sometimes, I don't seem to have any time on the computer to myself... I often can't get on here long anyway, to, say, write this LJ or my fanfiction, or similar. And it sometimes feels like I'm being asked to drop everything to work on things I'm getting tired of seeing.
Well, c'est la vie, I guess. And I probably shouldn't complain. But gotta get these things off my chest from time to time.
